Meeting Venue
The PI meeting will be held at Virginia Tech's Academic Building One (AB1), located in the National Landing / Potomac Yard neighborhood. It is steps away from the Potomac Yard–VT Metro Station (Blue & Yellow Lines), 10 minutes from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), and surrounded by hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, and retail shops within walking distance.

Parking & Transportation
Driving / Arriving by Car
The best address to use for GPS is 3625 Potomac Ave, Alexandria, VA 22305. There are two options for parking:
- Surface Lot – Uses the ParkMobile app for payment
- Garage Parking – Uses a ticket stub system. Upon entry, you will receive a stub. Payment can be made at ticket machines in the P1 and P2 elevator bays, or at the exit gate with a credit card
Parking Rates
- $4 per hour
- $20 maximum per day
- No overnight parking (lot closes at 10 p.m.; cars not accessible until 6 a.m. the following day)
- Please do not park in the Target or nearby shopping center lots due to strict towing policies
Metro Access
The Potomac Yard–VT Metro Station (Blue & Yellow Lines) is within walking distance. From the station: exit via escalators to the pedestrian bridge, cross over the tracks, turn right towards the North Pavilion entrance, and follow the walkway along University Drive to reach AB1.

- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) – 40 minutes by car, or 1 hour 20 minutes by Metro
